introducing, september. huh? i got the same reaction when i found out about her name. anyhoos, don be fret, that is not her real name.. below write up taken from her official page:

Petra Marklund was born determined. By the time she was twelve, she was already in studios recording. At seventeen, she was singing in a rock band and when she graduated from Swedish high school, at a time when most teenagers worry about what to wear to their interviews for a job at McDonalds, Petra had already nailed a record deal. A big one.
Calling herself September, the then 18-year old had hits like "La la la (Never give it up)", "We can do it" and "September all over". The songs were written and produced by dynamic hit making trio Jonas von der Burg, Niclas von der Burg and Anoo Bhagavan, and with Petra, they made a great team where Petra found exactly the kind of high-quality dance music she was looking for to make. While danceable and catchy, the songs always have its base in Petra's dark, surprisingly sad voice that lingers in your ears, making them stick out from the hit parades on the radio.

i found one of latest track and it hit me in an instant. the title of it 'can't get over' and it has remake sound of 80s mixed with latest dance tune. simply addictive.

umbrella is a song that i do not fancy at the begining. over time, the song grew in me. the 'ella ella eh eh eh' part definitely catchy tune and make u sing along everytime she sang it.

i found one remix of the song by travis baker. it has a heavy sound of guitar and drum and it make the song sound edgy and simply (more) addictive.

track 'cry' is a bonus track from 'good girl gone bad' and it was done (i believe) to reminiscence song 'unfaithful' from her previous album. it simply drama and big girl crying her heart out cos it hurt so badly.

Paris Hilton was sent screaming and crying back to jail Friday after a judge ruled that she must serve out her sentence behind bars rather than in the comfort of her Hollywood Hills home.

i hope she write a lyrics while she is in jail. the album usually sell if u sing about your bitter life, no?

second single from former american idol, kelly clarkson, taken from her 'my december' album is something that unexpected. her first single from the same album is an initial reaction to a bitter break up, this second single fast-forwards a few months and the songs finds kelly in relatively calmer place.

sober taking page out of the 'with or without you' (u2) school of writing i.e. the intensity of the songs built up towards the end and end it with an impact of the song. i begin to enjoy this song as it played repeatedly on my playlist.
